After the Parliamentary Group meeting of the Democratic Party, their
leader, Lulzim Basha, declared for the media that his political force
will cut the links between crime and politics and will bring back the
freedom of vote in the country.
According to Basha, the problem of purchased vote by politics, in cooperation with the drug cartel, is a national issue that does not belong only to the Democratic Party.
“The conclusion of our group for what we need to do tomorrow, is what every citizen knows right now: the alliance of politics, especially the drug cartels’ cooperation with Edi Rama, destroyed the political process of the Dibra elections. This is a vital problem for all of Albania, not only the DP and the opposition. The group showed determination to cut these ties of politics with crime, which have created an unprecedented situation for Albania. The next steps that we will discuss are a political action with our citizens and our allies. We will cut these links, and we will bring back freedom and the right to vote”, Basha declared.
