The Democratic Party has organized a protest for this Saturday,
promising it will be the biggest since they went in opposition, in 2013.

Democratic Party leader Lulzim Basha promised that Albanians will take a big decision in that protest, and make history for the fate of our people. But what will this big decision be?

For this and other questions, on Top Channel’s “Top Story”, hosted by Sokol Balla, was invited the Democratic Party MP, Aldo Bumci, with analysts Arjan Vasjari, Mustafa Nano and Agron Gjekmarkaj.

The Democratic Party MP, Aldo Bumci, said the opposition cannot go to elections without guarantees that they will be free and fair. For them, the best solution would be to form an interim government until the Election Day, similar to that of Macedonia.

Analyst Mustafa Nano said that although the opposition’s concerns are present, this reaction looks more like an alibi for losing the elections, since the Prosecution is not under government control.

Analyst Arjan Vasjari said that the opposition’s reasons for organizing a protest this Saturday are not convincing, while Agron Gjekmarkaj declared that the battle for free and fair elections is more important than reforming of the Democratic Party.
