Four members of the Democratic Party Youth Forum were detained by the Fier Police.
They had undertaken the distribution of donations in the villages caused by the floods in Fier.
Unofficial sources said that they were arrested after an incident with the motorcade of Erion Veliaj. They blocked the road at the Ferras village, together with other DP supporters.
But the Fier DP leaders reject this claim. They say the residents were the ones blocking the road.
The General Secretary of the DP, Arben Ristani, appealed the police to release the four young members of the DP.
Dozens of DP members gathered in front of the Fier Police, asking for them to be freed. The four members were released four hours after being detained.
