The Democratic Party claimed today that the Vetting Process is using double standards, following the directives of Prime Minister Rama.
In a press release, DP Members Alibeaj and Bardhi said that one of the 12 commissioners of the Vetting has been involved in falsification of documents.
“Lulzim Hamitaj has applied for a professor at the Tirana University in 2016, where he said that he has a B1 English level. One year later he filed a C1 certificate, issued in 2015. The question is why would he use in 2016 a B1 one certificate if he had a C1 coming from 2015?”, Alibeaj declared.
The Prosecution reacted after these accusations and said that the files were being sent to the Prosecution for verification.
“The Prosecution accepted the materials from the Democratic Party and demanded a verification”, the reaction says.
