The recent meetings between the allies in the opposition show that they
might be about to return in Parliament. They are careful to not give
details, but the opposition leader, Lulzim Basha, doesn’t hide the
pleasure that he is being able to focus the Europeans on the
decriminalization of the Parliament.
“For more than four months we demanded a decriminalization of the Parliament, the respecting of the constitution and of the Constitutional Court verdicts, the return of parliamentary supervision instruments and guarantees from the international factor, the European institutions. We are closer than ever to reaching these principles and standards”, Basha declared this Friday.
The only allies in the opposition, Fatmir Mediu and Dashamir Shehi, are waiting for the final negotiations between parties in Tirana and Brussels.
“What we want is to resolve this issue. This is not a matter of mandates, but a matter of parliamentary functionality. It is not a matter of datess, but a matter of solutions”, Mediu declared.
“Next week will be an intensive week of negotiations which we delegated to Mr.Basha as opposition leader. We hope that the solution will be positive for creating the right climate. The agreement should guarantee for the opposition to be in Parliament”, Shehi declared.
