Top Channel’s investigative program “Fiks Fare” showed yesterday how a
Gjirokaster doctor demanded money to release a patient from the state
hospital.
The 42-year-old Arben Kuro, doctor at the Gjirokaster Regional Hospital, was today arrested over passive corruption charges.
The Gjirokaster Police say that “after the report made on Top Channel’s ‘Fiks Fare’ by citizen S.P, resident of Kalivac, Arben Kuro has taken 15.000 ALL after an operation to the son of S.P”.
