Public Health Specialist Erion Dasho in a Facebook status has warned of a winter pandemic season saying the infections will keep steady figures despite the fact that 80% to 85% of COVID patients recover on their own.
He adds that good family doctors should carefully monitor the patients, not give them unnecessary medication and recommend hospitalization when they have complications.
Dasho points out that from July 1 when COVID cases started to increase significantly to date, the two COVID hospitals have treated between 400 and 600 patients.
“In the same period, 340 people lost their lives, making resuscitation mortality from COVID one of the highest in the world,” he said among other things.
