Following the report of the Commission of Inquiry for the dismissal of President Ilir Meta for participating in the April 25 election campaign against the Socialist Party, the spokesman of the Presidency, Tedi Blushi, said that there are no concerns about the decisions or activities carried out by a ‘one party parliament ‘.

Blushi announced that Meta will be in office until July 24, 2022.

“No comment and zero concern about any null decision or unconstitutional and illegal activity of the one-party Assembly, which desperately tries to avoid attention from the public debate on the proven electoral crimes of April 25.

“The perpetrators and tutors of these crimes are engaged in this farce against the only institution that respects and protects the Constitution of Albania and its sovereignty,” said Blushi.

“The President of the Republic Ilir Meta will continue to exercise his duty until July 24, 2022, with the same high responsibility, in respect and protection of the Constitution and the Albanian national interest”, added Blushi.
