Disappointed loser of online job competition, sets fire to the Education Directorate in Fier

The person who set fire to the second floor of the Education Directorate in Fier has been caught by the police.

33-year-old Indrit Alushaj, resident of Fier, sprayed the premises with gasoline and then set fire to the second floor of the building.

His motivation was disappointment as according to reports he had participated in the online employment competition on the agency’s portal, and did not win.

Police announced that the perpetrator of the arson has been apprehended and is expected to stand trial soon.
