Digital meters will be used for 4600 Distribution System Operator
families that cannot use normal ones, due to lines with low tension.
Digital operators can function with low levels too, different from the current meters.
OSHEE has started a bid to buy meters for four areas, from Shkoder, Lezha, Librazhd, Nikla and Fushe Kruja.
The smart measuring system is on its first steps. Meters will be connected online after another project that will build a communication network and computer servers.
