Reconstruction works have continued for years in the Lin-Pogradec
national road, but yet, the day when cars will be able to travel freely
seems far.
Traveling in this segment is very difficult especially for heavy vehicles. In the recent days, while farmers hope to sell their agricultural products, buyers hesitate to cross this road and the goods remain stocked.
The main agricultural production of this area are apples, potatoes and onions. But even this year farmers faced huge stocks. Specialists at the Directory of Agriculture confirm that there are tons of goods that are not sold yet.
The road is bringing negative consequences to the town of Pogradec too, now that the tourist season is approaching.
The entire road goes along the lake’s coast, and makes the travel very uncomfortable.
