The Ministry of Health announced today the death of the professor of the Faculty of Medicine Arjan Pushi, who was 58 years old, in the Infectious Diseases Hospital, affected by COVID19.
Prof. Arjan Pushi has had a distinguished career in the field of hematology and has trained many generations of medical students.
The Ministry of Health expressed its condolences to the family and friends of Professor Arjan Pushi.
Arjan Pushi is the first doctor to die from the new coronavirus in Albania, while he is the 63rd person to die of the disease in our country.
