The State Minister for the Diaspora, Pandeli Majko, attended a working visit in Dusseldorf, Germany, where he met with representatives of Albanian associations.
Albanian education in Germany, common teaching standards with Kosovo, and the problems of th Albanian community in Germany were among the matters that were discussed during the meeting.
Teachers updated the Minister with the situation of the Albanian education in Rhine Westfalia. They said that in cities where the Albanian language is offered, the attendance rate is considerable, but it could be even higher.
The representative of the Council of Education underlined that the new generation in Germany has a huge potential, and requested more cooperation for facilitating their situation.
