The operation for cleaning the Dhermi seaside from abusive constructions
continued for the third day. Two heavy vehicles, supported by the
police, demolished a three story building close to the village’s water
stream.
The people who made the construction reacted, but they were removed by police forces that were following the operation. After bringing this building down, the National Inspectorate of Urban Construction demolished the “Havana” summer disco which was close to this area.
The National Inspectorate of Urban Construction operation continues and according to the director, every building without regular documentation and that is not 100 meters from the seaside will be demolished.
Yesterday, the National Inspectorate of Urban Construction operated in Drimadha, where they demolished six objects. The operation will continue with the Himara villages. 150 objects will be demolished from Llogara to Himara in total, and 280 others from Saranda, Butrint and Ksamil.
