There are hundreds of young people who have graduated from universities
and are unable to find a job. The Minister of Social Welfare and Youth,
Erion Veliaj, declared during a meeting with the students of the Tirana
Professional School that professional education has advantages.
“It is a disappointment spending 12 years of schooling and remaining unemployed. We need to speak as much as possible about the values of professional education, what you can do with your talent and your hands”, Veliaj declared.
“The question today is what you can do. In fact, a school like yours has an answer. Yes, I know how to be an economist. I know how to keep a balance. I know how to manage a bank or the revenues of a business”, the Minister declared.
Veliajs said that more work is needed for professional schools, where subjects must have a real value for the job market.
“No one can learn football in theory. You need to enter the field and learn to play”, Veliaj declared.
