The Prosecution of Serious Crimes started an investigation for terrorism
after discovering 200 grams of explosive in the vehicle of Besnik
Dervishi.
While secrecy of investigation is kept, the Prefect stayed for three hours inside the Prosecution. The other passenger in the car was Ergys Hoxha, Chief of Anticorruption, and a National Guard officer.
The investigations were led by Prosecutor Olsi Cela, and when asked about the itinerary, Dervishi declared that he had a meeting with Hoxha, and since they couldn’t find a parking space near the buildings, they thought to live the vehicle at the Prime Minister’s parking lot.
This was the lucky decision for Dervishi, since the National Guard had to inspect the vehicle, as a routine check.
Dervishi was taken under police protection. The entire investigation is kept in secrecy and there is no information about where the explosive might have been placed.
