Although the list of objects to be demolished in Vlore reaches 190
constructions, the building that created more discussions is the “Jon”
complex at the Uji I Ftohte.
The first object that was demolished in this city is the seven-store building at former Aulona, which continued with other constructions in Llogara. The National Inspectorate of Urban Construction blocked the 9-store building by starting the legal discussions that continued more than one month.
Owners reacted immediately by addressing to the Administrative Court, which gave a delay measure. The decision of Council of Ministers decided a 500 million ALL fund for the residents.
The case of this building had violations since 1995, when the Agency of Property Return and Compensation returned 600 square meters of land to the owners, while the court gave them the rights of property for 1000 square meters that according to the authorities were on sea and not even land.
The further violations have been seen in the construction permit given by the Municipality. In the report made by the Interior Ministry was seen that the sale agreement has the signatures of two owners who have died before the property change.
