Democratic Party will continue protest in front of PM’s Office

Thousands of opposition militants, led by Democratic Party leader Lulzim
Basha and former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, stopped in front of the
Prime Minister’s office where they appealed for an interim government to
guarantee free and fair elections.

“I will be the last one to go from here”, Basha said.

“I will stay here 24/7 until victory”, Berisha declared.

Members of the Democratic Party Youth Forum built a tent in front of the office of Prime Minister Edi Rama, which democrats called “New house of Democrats. The tent of freedom, endurance and protest”,

The tent is eight meters high and covers hundreds of square meters. It will be used by militants and Parliament Members of the Democratic Party, together with leader Lulzim Basha, to continue their protest indefinitely.

Aldo Bumci, from the Democratic Party, said for Top Channel that if Edi Rama doesn’t leave calmly to create conditions for free and fair elections, he will be gone by other means.

The opposition leaders showed that the purpose of this protest were the elections, while protesters from various cities of Albania said they were protesting against this government, wishing for a better one that wants to really help the people.
