The Democratic Party MP, Enkelejd Alibeaj, said that the Provisory Prosecutor General, Arta Marku, is expected to be confirmed on her duty because she serves to Edi Rama and to her government.
“Marku has violated the law by appointing and firing prosecutors and leaders, although the law doesn’t allow her”, Alibeaj declared.
“We published shocking documents proving that Marku ‘forgot’ a citizen in prison for two months. This was enough for her to be fired because she violated the rights of a citizen”, Alibeaj said.
The Democratic Party MP said that Marku doesn’t have the moral integrity to stay in power, and that the Vetting Law is under serious suspicion.
