Democratic Party leader met Mogherini: “No Parliament without a technical government”

Different from what had been announced, the High Representative of the
European Union for Foreign Policies and Security, Federica Mogherini,
met with the Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha.
Despite the earlier declarations of the High Representative, Basha declared for the media that they will not withdraw from their stance for a technical government.
“A government that has the good will to guarantee free and fair elections, by implementing the decriminalization law thoroughly, by taking an energetic and effective action against drug cultivation and dirty money, which, according to all international media, are threatening the elections in Albania”, Basha said.
According to him, this is the only way for the judiciary reform to be implemented.
