Demarkation commission says Kosovo will not lose territory to Montenegro

The commission for measuring the territory of Kosovo, declared the
country will not lose any area to Montenegro with the demarkation
agreement.

The Commission was created a month ago by the Kosovo government, after persistence from the opposition, which claimed that the current agreement would cost Kosovo more than 8000 hectares.

After a detailed data verification, the expert panel concluded the area lost through Ahtisari’s plan is insignificant.

The Chairman of this commission, Hivzi islami, also Director of the Kosovo Academy of Science and Art, clarified that the commission’s work was independent and distanced from political influences.

But the Parliamentary Group leader of the Alliance for Future of Kosovo, Pal Lekaj, reacted immediately on Facebook and said the commission was a puppet of Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, and that its members are paid by him to not have a conscience.
