The Technical Council of the Albanian Road authority approved the Adriatic-Ioonian route, which will allow the financing of the final project.
The project was financed by the European Western Balkans Joint Fund, for the Montenegro-Albania road segment.
This is part of a joint initiative between the European Union, International Financial Institutions, bilateral donators and Western Balkan governments.
This investment supports the social-economic development and the EU accession process for Western Balkan countries.
