The Ministry of Health and Social Protection made today (18.01.2021) an appeal to all citizens to be careful with the implementation of anti-COVID measures, while regarding the situation of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, it said that 2343 tests have been performed, of which 292 citizens resulted positive.
In the last 24 hours, 417 citizens have been cured, while currently in 4 COVID hospitals, 282 patients are being treated, 25 of whom are in intensive therapy.
Unfortunately, despite the efforts of doctors, 4 citizens did not win the battle with COVID19: 1 citizen from Durrës, 1 citizen from Kavaja, 1 citizen from Rrogozhina, 1 citizen from Mirdita, all aged 39-66 years.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expresses its condolences to the families of the deceased.
The Ministry addresses the citizens not to neglect the signs of the disease and to contact for any doubt with the family doctor to perform the testing as well as for the follow-up in the home.
