In the last 24 hours, there has been a decrease in Covid-19 positive cases in Albania, as out of 239 tests, 33 positive cases have been confirmed.
There are still new hospitalizations of citizens in need of hospital treatment as a result of Covid-19. Currently, 82 patients are being treated in the infectious service, 10 of which are in intensive care.
The geographical distribution of positive cases of the last 24 hours is as follows: 23 in Tirana, 8 in Shkodra and 1 case in Pogradec and Kamza.
The good news is that in the last 24 hours 25 citizens have recovered, bringing to 1159 the number of recovering since the beginning of the epidemic.
There are currently 792 active people in our country with COVID19, mainly in Tirana, Shkodra, Durres.
Over the past week we have had an increased trend of positively confirmed cases, an enlarged age gap with pronounced symptoms and increased hospitalized cases.
