The Agency for the Administration of Seized Assets at the Ministry of
Finances has executed the order of the Court of Tirana to seize the
assets of Francesco Becchetti, suspected of money laundering.
The measure was given against the companies “Energy”, “400kv” “Fuqi”, “Cable System”, and “Agon-Set”.
The announcement of the Ministry of Finances says that the implementation of the Court order was made in presence of representatives of this company.
The Prosecution of Tirana considers the Italian citizen, Francesco Becchetti, as organizer of a financial scheme, in cooperation with Liliana Condimitti, which involved the construction of a hydro-power plant in Kalivaci.
Investigations showed that the concessionary of “LEG”, controlled by a company of Francesco Becchetti, has contracted “Energji”, controlled completely by his mother, Liliana Condomitti.
Financial maneuvres from 2007 to 2013 has shown that these citizens have profited millions of Euros which have been invested in Cable System, 400 KV and Fuqi, all administered by them.
