The Democratic Party says that the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama,
is inspecting the works that were started by the Democratic Party, which
he voted against each time that the budget was being approved.
According to the opposition, the Prime Minister is doing this now because he has no project for the development of our country, and not even for the employment of the Albanian people.
“When all campaign promises have been abandoned, when he has failed to start any new project or any new job, Rama has started the tour of inspecting works started by the Democratic Party. Rama is praying where he threw poison. Rama made everything possible to block the development projects while in opposition, an voted against any investment in roads and infrastructure. He even laughed at the construction of national, regional and rural axes”, declared the Democratic Party spokesperson, Silvi Bardhi.
This claim of the Democratic Party has been rejected by the Socialist Party Organization Secretary, Blendi Klosi, who declared that the Lin-Pogradec road should have ended by June 2013, but due to the bad governing of the Democratic Party, it is still an open construction site today.
“The Lin-Pogradec road should have ended in June 2013, but due to the bad governing of the Democratic Party, it is not over yet. It has been abandoned to the mercy of fate, to the mercy of a debt that has been accumulated by the former government and which not only has not ended, but keeps being degraded. The work started thanks to the guarantee that the road construction took from the new government for paying the old debt. Today’s reactions by the press office that spent all the money of the Albanian people by cutting inauguration tapes are ridiculous and make you understand once again the revolt of 1 million votes on June 23rd”, Klosi declared.
“The challenge of Prime Minister Rama today is to unblock all these construction sites, to pay the debts so that work can start. Not only for having the roads, but also to have roads of good quality and standards”, Klodi added.
