Board Director of National Democratic Institute, Haward Dean, declared
that the election reform process that is going on in Kosovo is very
important. He met Parliament Speaker Jakup Krasniqi and participated at
a conference organized by NDI, where they discussed on the electoral
reform. According to RTK, Dean declared that the problem with the
elections is not only the election system.
“It is not important in which way the counting will be done. What is really important is that the vote count must be made in a sincere way. There are many good systems, and Kosovo will decide what to chose. But everything depends on people’s honesty”, Dean declared, adding that it is mandatory for law violators to be punished.
