The Albanian National Football team will welcome Spain this Sunday in
Shkoder, as the next match for Russia 2018. Our team is currently
leading the group with six full points, leaving the Spanish behind with
four points.
De Biasi said with for the Spanish newspaper “AS” that he has high hopes that his players will perform as well as in France.
“We hope to give the same results as in France, although that activity belongs to the past. We need to be humble and concentrated. The difference between Spain and Albania are Huge, like the day and night”, De Biasi said.
When asked if Albania could make any surprise in this difficult group, De Biasi said:
“For us it is more difficult to make history, as we did this year. The group is very difficult. It is important to play well against Macedonia, Israel and Lichtenstein. We have nothing to lose against Spain and Italy. I would say that Spain has 40% chances to end up first in the group, same as Italy, and the 20% will be between the other teams”, De Biasi said.
