Day against poverty, WB: “45% of Albanians live with less than 5$ a day”

Today is the day against poverty. Many families in our country are on the point of needing assistance to survive.

14.3% of the population in 2012 was living with less than 5000 ALL a month. According to the World Bank, 45.5% of the Albanian people live with less than 5 dollars a day.

On the day against poverty, the Minister of Social Welfare, Blendi Klosi, became part of an initiative that aims to help homeless families, and offer them safe jobs.
