Danger from terrorism and violent extremism has brought to Tirana the
Italian Minister of Justice, Andrea Orlando, who is attending a series
of meetings with the Albanian authorities.
Orlando met with the Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri, with whom he spoke about the ciooperation methods to go against these phenomena.
“We have an intensive cooperation with the Italian Authorities, especially against the organized crime and terrorism, but also the challenges that have affected the EU and the region” Tahiri said in a press conference.
Tahiri said that they have exchanged issues that concern both countries, for the excellent cooperation that we have had so far especially against terrorism.
The Minister said that although they are aware that these challenges know no borders, he expressed the desire that cooperation between the two countries and law-enforcing agencies will produce what Albanian and Italian citizens want tin the fight against terror.
