Damage at Selevec embankment, water above average level

The city of Vlore might also get flooded due to the heavy rains. The
water at the Selevec embankment has gone above the average level.
This is the last obstacle before the water enters the Narta village and then the city of Vlore. Heavy machineries have thrown inert materials in places where the embankment was damaged.
The Electricity Corporation in Vlore, Julian Demaj, declared that they have secured energy for 24 hours a day at the Akerni, to avoid any emergency.
“As you see, the water level is at its critical point. We have contacted with the emergency headquarters since 5 am. We will continue monitoring the situation until this is over. We don’t know how long it will take”, Demaj declared.
While the water level is growing with 50 centimeters, the Vlore city and the Narte village risk floods.
