The Czech Ambassador, Bronislava Tomasova, declared during a meeting in Shkoder that corrupted judges must leave the system.
“One of the reasons why youth leaves the country, is the non-functional justice system. I am aware that the creation of a justice system by justice members will take time, chances are until Albania is admitted at the EU. But there is the need to start this process as soon as possible. Yesterday it was very late for this achievement, since the country is losing money and good investment opportunities. This is one of the reasons why the Albanian youth say they would rather live somewhere else”, she said.
Expert Gent Ibrahimi explained the competences that will take the High Council of the Judiciary for making a system independent from politics.
