Cultivation of medicinal plants in Kukes

The high level of malnutrition and the increasing demand for different
agricultural cultures has made the Kukes District communes to increase
the production of medicinal plants and create newer capacities for the
preparation of quality foods.
Farmers say that they are cultivating plants that have not been produced before, and say that they have found the market before they are even collected.
The planting of these agricultural cultures is strongly supported by the communes in the border with Kosovo, for a mutual cooperation that aims to increase the cultivation of these plants.
More than 40 farmers will benefit in Kukes only, who whill also receive concrete assistance for improving their technology.
