The Crikvenica and Sellca are two hours away from the Croatian coast of
Rijeka, and many Albanians live there, arrived 50 years ago from
different places.

The have worked with small businesses, and the tourist development of Coratia have found them with shops near coastal areas. Today they have several associations, schools and high-schools.

Ermina Lekaj Perlaska is the first Albanian MP that will be part of the Zagreb Parliament. She has two birthplaces, Sellca and Prizren, Kosovo.

“With the integration of Albanians, we can give a higher contribution and have the place that we deserve”, Lekaj Perlaska said.

She says that Albanians can now make use of their official access to not forget their travel, and to find connections between their two countries.

“Let’s unite. Let’s be unique. Let’s have an institution of albanology here in Zagren, with a faculty of the Albanian language and guarantee more financial support for Albanians”, Lekaj Perlaskaj said.
