At least 13 people were arrested this Monday by the Fier Police during an operation code-named Mbrostar 2014.
According to the local police, after a four month investigation they were able to uncover a criminal group that was involved in several crimes in Fier, Lushnje, Berat, Vlore and Elbasan.
Two other people are on the run. In a declaration for the media, the Fier Police Director declared that the suspects are arrested for nine separate crimes.
This structured criminal group is also suspected for other crimes that are being followd by the Prosecution, but no details are given yet due to investigative secret.
