The structures for Internal Affairs and Complaints at the Ministry of
Interior annuonced the arrest of a police officer, Kol Zaja, 40, Crime
Specialist at the Librazhd Precinct, arrested of passive corruption.
Zaja was arrested after the Elbasan Court gave the arrest measure for the 40 year old, while investigations were realized together with the Task Force of the Elbasan Prosecution.
Zaja is accused on August 28th when administering a criminal case filed by a citizen against M.B.
The citizen appeared at the Precinct for further details, but Zaja had promised to remove his charges for 100.000 ALL. He had guaranteed to interfere even with the Prosecution to end the case.
