Families that have a positive member with Covid, should be very careful with children because according to dr. Xhorxhina Kuli who runs the infectious disease service for children, they manifest the symptoms even after 4 to 6 weeks after the family adult is affected.
“It has been seen that the child is infected 4-6 weeks after the parent,” said Kuli, adding that there are children hospitalized but not in alarming figures.
Meanwhile around 3000 children throughout Albania have tested positive with Covid-19.
Albania is facing a high number of infections and also a high number of loss of life every 24 hours.
Doctors now claim that virus mutations have entered our country, although they are not able to determine what kind of mutation Albanians are being faced with.
