“Despite our commitment with covax, if we were to wait for them we would still be waiting and it is still unknown today how long this wait would last. Therefore we are engaged with other channels, we contacted in New York directly with difficult Pfizer, and at the same time we have opened 4 other bilateral channels, with 4 countries and vaccination today is an agreement with one of these countries, which I am not authorized to say because so they ask.

“We did not get the vaccines from Greece. But we have secured the vaccine route with predicted doses month after month starting from the third week of January with Pfizer, with the hope that we will soon pave the way for the Astra-zeneca vaccine.

“This is a fact of our ability, using our diplomatic capacity. It is definitely a fact that in a race of beggars for their country I am a contender for the first place “, said Rama among other things.
