The number of people affected by covid-19 Alabania has risen to 475 after 8 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the infection map has been expanded with Kukës, where a person, medical staff has come out as positive.
Eugena Tomini from the Institute of Public Health provided the details:
“In the last 24 hours fieldwork has continued in identifying new cases and track positive cases contacts.
“Yesterday, 236 suspects were tested, 45 of whom health personnel, mainly in the Shkodra hospital. From the test results, 8 were confirmed positive with COVID-19, of which 6 cases in Tirana, 1 health personnel in Shkodra and 1 health personnel in Kukës.
“As can be seen from the graph, the trend shows a consistency of confirmed cases, mainly during the last two weeks.
“24 citizens have lost the battle with COVID-19, despite the extraordinary efforts of health personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 16 other patients have been added to the list of recovered”.
