The Ministry of Health appealed to the citizens not to reduce the vigilance and to continue to apply the anti-COVID rules, while saying today (03.02.2021) that out of 3849 tests for Covid-19, 1007 citizens tested positive.
Positive cases were identified in Tirana, 289 cases, 76 cases in Fier, 72 in Lushnje, 54 in Durrës, 51 in Vlora, 48 in Elbasan, 32 in Shkodra, and in a lesser numbers in other districts.
They said that 581 citizens have recovered in the last 24 hours, while 404 patients are being treated in hospitals, 21 of whom are in intensive care.
Despite the efforts of the medical staff, 6 citizens lost the battle with COVID-19 in hospitals, of which 3 citizens from Tirana, 1 citizen from Elbasan, 1 citizen from Tepelana, 1 citizen from Fieri, all aged 49 – 92 years.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection addresses the citizens not to neglect any signs of the disease and to contact the family doctor for any doubts.
