The Ministry of Health announced today (10.09.2020) that in the last 24 hours 156 new cases have been recorded and 2 loss of life as a result of Covid-19.
During the last 24 hours, 870 tests were performed on persons suspectedly affected by COVID-19, and 156 citizens affected by the virus were identified, while 62 citizens were recovered.
188 patients are being treated at the Infectious Diseases Hospital and “Shefqet Ndroqi”, 20 in intensive therapy, of which 7 patients are intubated.
An 83-year-old woman from Shkodra and an 87-year-old woman from Tirana could not win the battle with the disease in the last 24 hours, despite the efforts of doctors and nurses.
The Ministry of Health calls on everyone to be careful with respect to physical distance: “Use the mask everywhere indoors, when entering the supermarket, shops, office and any public places where you can not keep your distance. Wash and disinfect your hands as often as possible. “A call especially for young people to be careful because the virus does not recognize age and is a danger to everyone.”
