Albanian Ministry of Health announced today (13.03.2021) that 12 patients have lost their lives from coronavirus during the last 24 hours, while out of 3463 tests performed, 698 new cases have resulted.
The 12 citizens who lost the battle with COVID-19 are: 3 from Tirana, 3 from Elbasan, 1 from Fieri, 1 from Shkodra, 1 from Vlora, 1 from Lushnja, 1 from Kuçova, 1 from Kavaja, all aged 53-79 years.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expresses its condolences to the families of the deceased.
Confirmed positive cases have been identified in the following municipalities: 195 cases in Tirana, 54 cases in Shkodra, 45 cases in Fier, 34 cases in Mirdita, 30 cases in Lushnje, 28 cases in Elbasan and fewer numbers in other districts.
In the last 24 hours, 690 citizens have recovered, while a total of 492 patients are being treated in hospitals, 24 of which in intensive therapy.
