A 34-year-old woman from Librazhd who also suffered from renal insufficiency, diabetes and hypertension, confirmed with Covid19, could not survive. She is the youngest victim of the pandemic so far.
Meanwhile in the last 24 hours 347 tests have been performed of which 67 positive Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.
Kruja has the highest number of daily affected people with 18 cases, followed by Tirana with 16, 10 in Shkodra, 6 in Vlora, 2 cases in Kukës, Lezhë, Kurbin and Lushnje, and 1 case respectively in Durrës, Fier, Korça, Kavaja, Rrogozhinë, Tropojë, Berat, Vau i Dejës and Divjakë.
A significant proportion of cases are related to multiple employees enterprises, while the investigation of new cases continues.
There are currently 850 active people in our country with COVID19, mainly in Tirana, Shkodra, Durres.
Dr. Marjeta Dervishi from the Institute of Public Health said that there are new hospitalizations in the infectious disease hospital where 82 patients are currently being treated, 14 of them in intensive care.
Dervishi said that the good news is that in the last 24 hours, 22 citizens have been cured, including 7 doctors and nurses, bringing the number of cured people to 1217 since the beginning of the epidemic.
