During the last 24 hours, out of 3251 tests for Covid-19, 519 citizens tested positive and 11 patients lost their lives.
Confirmed positive cases have been identified in the following municipalities: 138 cases in Tirana, 47 in Vlora, 29 in Korça, 23 in Fier, 22 in Shkodra, 21 in Saranda, 19 in Berat, and fewer cases in other districts.
In the last 24 hours, 671 citizens have recovered from the disease, while 399 patients with coronavirus are being treated in hospitals, 28 of which in intensive therapy.
In the meantime tragically have lost the battle with COVID19 3 citizens from Tirana, 2 citizens from Elbasan, 1 citizen from Vlora, 1 citizen from Durrës, 1 citizen from Kuçova, 1 citizen from Mati, 1 citizen from Peqini, 1 citizen from Korça, all aged 53- 96 years old.
To date 3509 anti-Covid vaccinations have been performed. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection appeals to all citizens not to reduce their vigilance and continue to implement the rules for the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic.
