Albanian health authorities announced today (03.11.2020) that during the last 24 hours 1684 tests have been performed of which 381 persons tested positive for SARS-COV2.
Positive cases confirmed in the last 24 hours have been identified in these municipalities:
125 cases in Tirana, 33 in Korça, 27 in Fier, 26 in Kruja, 17 cases in Shkodra and Kavaja, 15 cases each in Vlora and Mallakastër, 14 in Pogradec, 13 cases in Lezha, Gramsh, 12 in Tropoja, 9 cases each in Kurbin, Përmet, Kuçovë, 7 in Kukës, 6 in Saranda, 5 in Librazhd, 4 in Mat, 2 in Gjirokastër, and 1 case each in Durrës, Mirditë, Lushnje.
In the last 24 hours, 106 citizens have been cured, while 336 patients are being treated in 3 Covid-19 hospitals, 13 of which in intensive therapy.
Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours, 5 citizens with Sars-Cov2 positive have lost their lives in Covid hospitals: a 54-year-old man from Korça, a 64-year-old man from Librazhd, a 64-year-old man and two 66-year-olds from Tirana, with concomitant diseases.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection appeals to citizens to respect the measures for the prevention of COVID19, wear a mask in any environment outside the home, maintain physical distance, wash and disinfect your hands as often as possible.
