The Health Ministry informed that during the last 24 hours 161 new cases and 3 losses of life have been recorded as a result of Covid-19, in Albania.
The good news is that during the last 24 hours 97 citizens have healed, bringing to 6443 the number of recovered. Also, from epidemiological data the incidence of the virus in the last two weeks is 62.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
188 patients are being treated at the Infectious Diseases Hospital and “Shefqet Ndroqi”, 21 in intensive therapy. Unfortunately, 3 people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours: an 80-year-old man from Shkodra, an 82-year-old man and a 90-year-old man from Tirana .
The geographical distribution of daily cases is as follows:
54 cases in Tirana, 20 cases in Elbasan, 13 cases in Korça,
11 cases in Kukës, 10 cases in Durrës, Lezhë,
9 cases in Kruja, 6 cases in Pogradec, 4 cases in Kamza,
from 3 cases in Shkodra, Devoll, Kavaja, Vlora, 2 cases in Gramsh,
from 1 case in Has, Lushnje, Puka, Mirdita, Berat, Librazhd, Përmet, Malësi e Madhe, Shijak, Maliq.
