The Health Ministry has announced that the number of people affected by CoVid-19 in Albania has risen to 467 as 21 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.
One of these is a health worker and two are children, to date asymptomatic.
Albana Fico from the Institute of Public Health gave the details:
“In the past 24 hours, field work has continued to identify cases to update and to track positive cases contacts.
“Yesterday 193 suspected cases were tested, of which 21 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed, including 1 health personnel and two asymptomatic children.
“So far, COVID-19 and 467 cases have been confirmed positive.
“23 citizens have lost the battle with this disease so far, despite the extraordinary efforts of the health personnel.
In the last 24 hours, another 15 patients have been added to the list of the recovered, bringing the number of the cured from COVID-19 to 232.
