Police structures have continued checks throughout the country, monitoring the implementation of new measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the mandatory wearing of a protective mask, which is an obligation for all citizens, from the moment they leave house.
As a result during the last 24 hours, throughout the country, the General Patrols and those of the Traffic Police report that they have identified and penalized with the administrative measure 3,000 ALL, 609 citizens who did not have protective masks.
Also the administrator of a restaurant was penalized with the administrative measure of 1,000,000 ALL, because there was music in the premises of this restaurant after 20:00 and the safety protocols for preventing the spread of COVID-19 were not respected.
During these checks, 8 citizens were escorted to the Police premises throughout the country who refused to show the identification document to the Police employees.
The State Police thanks the citizens who respect this protection measure and appeals to everyone to put on protective masks, to be strictly respected
