The Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu, stated in a communication with the media that the Government has provided 100 thousand rapid coronavirus tests, which have already arrived in Albania and will start to be applied starting from Monday, December 7.
“We have provided in our first contract 100 thousand rapid antigen tests, tests which are recognized by the WHO and ready to be used for diagnostic testing and epidemiological investigation.
“The rapid testing will start on Monday, initially in Tirana and will be the epidemiologists who will perform it in the framework of the epidemiological investigation, in the identified foci that will be evaluated by them as key in the transmission of the infection “, said Manastirliu.
