Interior Minister Sander Lleshaj, accompanied by Deputy Minister Voda, District Prefect Nasto, Mayor Varfaj, and General Director of Police, Veliu, conducted an inspection of measures taken by local and police authorities in Durres, in order to prevent the spread of COVID -19.
He assessed these measures as effective, in the service and for the protection of citizens.
“As part of the inspection that we are conducting in Durrës, we also had a visit to the Municipality, and we inspected the produce markets in Durrës. I am pleased to note that good and serious measures have been taken by the local authorities, the mayor and the entire staff, to make possible the functioning as a food market rather than a market that spreads infection to citizens. And as it is clear, the measures have been taken well “, said Minister Lleshaj.
